What is your favorite location in Eastern Mind?

Honestly, I love the green head view the best (lol I know, but all the quirky gimmicks and the eye ball paradise is too fun). But among the actual areas, Shi-chieng is my favorite; the sky, the whole candle-of-life thing, and the theme of time and fire, with a hint of technology/sci-fi/robotic looking creatures is delightful! I’m sure what we see in-game is a simplified version. I imagine this whole land is covered in these candles, all different sizes, with those fireflies fluttering everywhere. The heat distorts your vision of the looming tower, almost making you nauseous of the force of life itself. Luo-shang is close second, because pffft come on that place is amusing. I especially love Pu-ryao’s cynical, apathetic  personality (has a good reason to be so too) and the narrow hall. 

This is what I think of when I think about “the deadly sins”. The 7 sins does makes sense but seems too… nice? Minor inconveniences that might lead you to hell if you give in to their temptations over a certain degree. But with Luo-Shang, everything is just so… COLD. They WANT to kill you and meet your doom, and they enjoy making you feel like you’re only an object to play around within their grasp, just to kill their time, but the objects/characters are victims of what they inflict. They’ve been toyed around too, by a larger force,  in this case King-Gyou. The symbolism of the castle being in hand, the characters all being contained in a room, closed off from the outside world, the metaphors of the dark side of the human mind is incredible!! It seriously is a spiraling, never ending abyss of ultimate greed…

Yeah this is why I fucking obsessively love Tong-Nou.
